Think about it.. I was desperate to make money, I was willing to do just about anything for pennies on the hour, and I was visiting every work at home forum and program I could find.

I was the perfect victim and they knew it!

These so called companies prey on people just like you and me. They know that all we want is to find a legitimate way to trade our time and skills for a bit of extra cash and they use that desire, and desperation to trick us into handing over what little money we have left for the opportunity to join their irresistible opportunity.

And boy, are they ever irresistible aren't they..? From high paid typing advertisement jobs, data entry, transcription, to freelance writing, the list of appealing opportunities seems to grow at a steady pace every day.

But how many are legitimate? How many will pay you after you have completed the work?

These scammers trade names like some people trade baseball cards, and once we had joined one site, countless other work at home scam sites were given clear directions as to how to contact us in such a way that our defenses were down, and we were more than eager to do whatever they asked of us.. just to be given a shot at a 'real work from home job'.

Some of these scams include:

	Paying a "processing fee" to be given the chance to view work at home job leads..
	Signing up to websites and typing hundreds of advertisements for pennies a piece.
	Infecting our computers by being forced to browse through a series of auto surf advertisements.
	Handing over all of our personal and sensitive information in the hopes of being paid (not knowing what these scammers were really doing with our information)..
	Recruiting other naive home based job seekers and essentially contributing to the scam itself.
